Pallet Scales

Pallet scales as their name implies are primarily designed to facilitate the weighing of pallets. They generally come in two formats i.e. U shape and weighbeams.

The U shape (U frame) is basically two parallel weighbeams joined across the rear end, fitted with four loadcells and can accept either standard or Euro pallets as required. They are extremely portable and can be stored against a wall or on a shelf. Some come with a drag handle and wheels to aid portability. The display is remote from the weighing area and can be mounted on a wall, a free-standing column or desk. A pallet truck can be used to place the pallet onto the U shape and then withdrawn. Pallets must have at least one unobstructed end to allow the truck to withdraw. Weighbeams (parallel beams) are two beams which can be placed side by side or up to 3m apart for weighing larger or long loads. Some also come with a carrying handles and wheels. The display options are as for the U shape. Very portable and easy to stack away when not being used. Ideal for sites with limited space.
