Calibrated Test Weights are available in different materials and different classes of accuracy. The correct class of weigh will be determined by the accuracy of the scale you are testing them on. The most common class of weights are M1 Test Weights and covers larger scales at are accurate to 1g or more. For accurate testing of laboratory scales, F1 Test Weights are the most universally acceptable class as the weights are accurate up to 0.00002g. For ultra-accurate micro balances, E2 Test Weights are accurate up to 6 decimal places of a gram and are commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry.
If you require a Calibration Certificates with your test weights, these are available traceable to UKAS, DKD, Trading Standards or in-house. We also offer a Weight re-calibration service and recommend they are checked every 12 months.
