About the A&D HV-CEP & HW-CEP Intrinsically Safe Scales

The A&D HV-CEP/HW-CEP series are intrinsically safe electronic scales complying with international standards such as IECEx and ATEX to Zone 2 - II 1G Ex ia IIB T4 Ga The HV-CEP/HW-CEP series can be used in areas where explosive atmospheres are present. The HV-CEP/HW-CEP series operates on 4 D batteries, making them fully mobile without the need to secure power from a safe area via a safety barrier and with up to 1500 hours battery life. The batteries to be used are specified: DURACELL MN1300, ENERGIZER E95, or Panasonic LR20 (XJ). Batteries are not included. The scales use a back lit liquid crystal display to enable viewing in dim light.
