How does a moisture analyzer work?
A Moisture Analyser (also known as Moisture Balances) determines the amount of moisture in a product. This moisture content is directly responsible for the effective life and quality of the product being analysed. The Moisture Analyser weighs a sample of the product, heats it up and once it is dry, weighs it again. This weight after drying is subtracted from the first weight. The result indicates the loss of moisture as a loss of mass.
