Power from an internal rechargeable battery with up to 55 hours of continuous use and mains adaptor (supplied). Optional carry case for safe transportation. I purchased this scale to weigh my 84 year old mother who has a bone wasting disease and can not now get out of bed. After reading through the instructions supplied I have found it easy to use and can now keep an eye on m...ums weight. It is a little heavy to carry round and you need to have a coat hook type hoist for the scale to hang from. The scale arrived the very next day which was fab. More
